Here are a few basics to cover: My name is Patricia, I’m in my mid-30s (such a fun time!), and I live with my beautiful daughter and husband in an Australian coastal city called Newcastle, two hours away from busy Sydney. It’s a scenic harbour city made up of heritage suburbs and idyllic beaches that truly bring the place to life. I’m originally from Manila, Philippines, but my husband and I boldly decided to move to Australia mid-pandemic – a decision that has changed our lives forever and one I’m grateful to have made.
I’ve always lived (secretly) on the internet – starting with the 2000’s-coded blogspot and livejournal – so having this (public) space makes my teen/young adult heart so happy.
I am a mum, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a friend. I’m also a publicist by trade, but deep down I’m a passionate homecook and an avid fan of finding the perfect series to binge at any given point in time. In our spare time, my family and I love to go to our favourite beach spot and discover beautiful gems around the coast; whether it’s a hole-in-the-wall cafe or a hatted restaurant – we don’t discriminate! As mentioned, I love cooking and am a huge advocate for experiencing culture through food, so I love trying different cuisines! My favourite, though, is and always be my own – Filipino!

I know, from experience, that it can sometimes be so easy to forget that there is life in between life. Between our careers to manage, responsibilities to do and families to care for – we often need to remember the in-betweens and the “weekends”, so to speak, that make life so joyful and light. My motto in life is always to follow your curiosities because I truly believe this is where big magic happens. There is much to experience out there! I hope this blog and little space on the internet can serve as your respite where you can slow down and be inspired. I hope we get to discover beautiful things together. When all is said and done, isn’t that what life is about? 🙂
