I had the pleasure of attending the launch of In F I had the pleasure of attending the launch of In Forno’s Detroit-style pizza 🍕 on November 10 at their Charlestown Square location, and i’m sure glad I did! We were seated in the outside seating area, which was perfect since it was such a beautiful day. The atmosphere felt light and airy, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. When they asked if we wanted an Aperol Spritz or Limoncello, I couldn’t resist going for the Limoncello, which was a great choice 💅It was tangy, perfectly sweet, and absolutely delicious. As for the deep dish pizzas, they’re made with dough fermented for 72 hours, creating a crispy crust with a soft, airy interior. My personal favorite was the Prosciutto Pesto, topped with pesto, aged prosciutto, fresh rocket, and Parmesan. 🌿🧀 The hearty Potato & Sausage and the fresh Bocconcini were also standouts 🫶🏻 these pizzas are soft, airy, crispy and perfectly seasoned. It’s such a great lunch option. If you’re in Newcastle, I’d highly recommend stopping by either their Charlestown Square or Hamilton locations for lunch. As soon as you enter their open floor restaurant at the corner of Hannell st in Wickham, you’ll immediately be greeted by the aroma of fired up woks wafting through the air.
