Hi, how are you?
Cyclone Alfred has unfortunately been hanging around for a while in some areas of Australia, so I’m thinking of everyone in its path. Hoping there’s not a lot of destruction and loss – stay safe out there.
Small wins for this week
1. I think I may I have just witnesseds one of the best episodes of television in 2025. Paradise TV, during its penultimate episode, delivered one of the most intense and gripping hours of television. Does anyone watch this? What did you think? Sterling K. Brown, as per usual, was spectacular. But the real surprise here was how well James Marsden acted alongside him. Also, those faces – swoon!
2. Television this year has been amazing so far. Traitors season 3 also delivered one of its best endings yet – a happy hollywood fairytale ending. It was gripping, to say the least! I was seriously screaming at the TV lol. All I can say is – WOW – it did not disappoint. Also, Dylan Efron and Gabby Windey are superstars. That’s all.
3. I’ve been making tacos recently. I love the the aspect of picking out what you want and building your own taco. I use this seasoning and it’s so delicious.
4. This sportsgirl knitted jacket makes me so happy. I recently bought it on sale and I am loving it. We’re in Autumn now, but it’s so sunshiney and extends summer in my mind.
5. For my Newcastle people – do you go to Westfield Kotara? If so, please do yourselves a favor and visit Absolute Thai within the foodcourt area and order yourself a Kana Moo Krob! Crispy pork, chinese broc, garlic, soybean paste – it’s seriously one of the best in Newy and I’ve eaten quite a few in different places!
